I qualified from Sheffield University in 1993, undertaking junior hospital training in Sheffield. I demonstrated and taught Anatomy and Physiology at the university and worked as a private hospital RMO in 1994.
I undertook Basic Surgical Training in Sheffield and Higher Surgical Training in the Durham, Whitehaven, Boston, Lincoln and Leicester.
My areas of specialist interest are Lower Limb Arthroplasty and Revision Hip Surgery having undertaken Fellowship training in Coventry
I was awarded the FRCS (Eng) in 1997 and FRCS (Tr & O)in 2005
He has been a member of the Reserve forces for over 20 years and have served in various parts of the world, including 2 consultant surgicaltours to Camp Bastion, Afghanistan.
I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Doncaster in 2006.
I am also an honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield.
